The Citadel Hockey Team has some volunteer Job Opportunities available, if you would like to get some real world experience in public relations contact us for an interview.

Media Relations: Responsibilities of this position include all relations with the media (in house and outside) including organizing interviews, releasing requested information and all other media request. Also would be responsible for writing game recaps, press releases and news for the team website. Would also be asked to help generate publicity from local media and portraying The Citadel Hockey Club in a positive light.

Marketing Director Would be responsible for working with students in developing and implementing marketing strategies to help publicize The Citadel Hockey Club. Finding effective ways to market the club on campus and increasing the share of student support will be a priority. Marketing the club with little or no budget will be a challenge. This person will be the coordinator of all marketing efforts and will give guidance to all student athletes to help achieve these goals.

Videographer This person would be responsible for videotaping and still photography at games. The use of tape is very important in the team’s off ice training and may be used in recruiting activities. Still photography will be used for promotional activities and the club’s website. Use of a video camera and a still camera will be available if you do not have your own.
